7th grade art focuses on studio practices and procedures, working to learn and develop technical skills using a variety of art media to gain an understanding of the expressive possibilities of various media. We meet every school day for a session of six weeks. Projects are completed in class, with materials provided, Students plan their artwork with preliminary sketches in their sketchbooks. On each assignment we focus on Elements of Art and the Principles of Design.
