Art Integration is open to all 10-12th grade students. The focus of this course is to not only introduce students to the visual arts through hands-on projects, art history and art appreciation but also to gain an understanding of one another, our differences and our similarities. This course aims to give students a better understanding of who their peers with special needs are as learners, artists and most importantly, individuals.
Art Integration & Education is designed for students interested in a career in art education, art therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or special education. Each student will be required to work in partnership with and/or assist developmentally delayed students.
